Welcome to REPAweb
WHAT IS REPA? - WHO IS IT FOR ?
The Ryanair European Pilots' Association (REPA) and the REPA website were established in 2004 to provide an anonymous and secure method for Ryanair pilots throughout Europe to communicate with each other. The REPAweb Bulletin Board enables Ryanair pilots to freely express their views on a range of safety, professional and employment issues.
Note: in addition to the following overview, further information can be found in the FAQ section of this site.
Membership
- REPA membership is exclusive to Ryanair pilots; this includes Ryanair "contract" & "trainee" pilots.
- REPA membership will continue to be free until further notice. Any alternative arrangements will first be discussed with members on the REPA site.
- To join you must first register with REPA.
All REPAweb applicants are screened individually; membership validation may therefore take between one and three days. Once your application has been validated you will be able to access the REPA Bulletin Board and post messages under a fully confidential user name (which you will choose as part of the registration process).
Most of the registration information you provide (including your name) is deleted from the site once your identity has been confirmed. Only the information necessary for the electronic functionning of the site is kept.
History
October 2004: REPA was launched by IALPA and BALPA with the support of the ECA. REPA was designed to provide a confidential website and Bulletin Board where pilots could freely exchange information and points of view with their Ryanair colleagues. This site is the only independent place where information and notices for the exclusive attention of Ryanair pilots can be read.
July 2011: The REPA website was relaunched. On this day in excess of 1,660 Ryanair pilots were, or had been, members of REPAweb.
Site Content
On the REPAweb public pages there are a number of links and sources of help available to Ryanair pilots and visitors; these include a link to a "sign up" page REPA elections and campaigns. Ryanair pilots who are not REPA members may also be permitted to vote on certain matters.
Members have access the REPAweb Bulletin Board where, in addition to private sections used by elected pilot representatives, etc, there are a number of Information and Discussions Forums, including the following:-
- REPA Announcements and Newsletters
- Meet the Press
- Documents and Publications
- Employment Issues
- Brookfield (Contractor) Issues
- Technical and Safety Topics
- Computers, Internet, REPA Site and Security
- General Chat
